Johnson County Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO)

The CDDO is the starting point for applying for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver services in Johnson County. The waiver waitlist for services is currently 9 years so families need to apply as soon as possible to ensure they have services when their student has completed school. 

 

The HCBS waiver will help pay for adult residential services, day supports, supported employment, personal care services, targeted case management services, and adaptive modifications. Having HCBS waiver services in place prior to exiting school services will make the transition into adulthood smoother.
